Thank you for visiting the Gunnery Sergeant John Basilone Award for Courage and Commitment. The original purpose for the site was to help procure a United States Postage Stamp honoring GySgt. John Basilone while supporting the Chesty Puller Stamp Campaign. This mission was accomplished.

Today, the site houses for historical purposes all efforts that went into both Campaigns. In addition, there are many links relating to events honoring John Basilone. We encourage visitors to click on the Semper Fi Fund page and do all they can to support our wounded service members and their families.

Please check back often as there will be many updates including those on the GySgt. John Basilone Award for Courage and Commitment. The Award is presented annually on 19 February.

One hundred percent of all donations are used for the Scholarship. No money is ever taken out for the overhead of the Scholarship and the Award.
